Pop into the National Gallery to see some of the world\u2019s most recognizable artworks. Then stroll south towards Westminster.\u00a0 Take a peek in at 10 Downing Street on the way. Then to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. You can then work your way through the City, London\u2019s business district, to St Paul\u2019s Cathedral. Alternatively travel a little further east and visit the Tower of London and one of the city\u2019s iconic symbols, Tower Bridge. For lunch, cross the Thames and explore the myriad of dining options at the foodie heaven that is Borough Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Afternoon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spend the afternoon exploring the south bank of the river. Take a trip up the Shard (the tallest building in the UK), visit the Globe Theatre or soak up some contemporary art at the Tate Modern. Stop for refreshment at one of the many historic pubs in the area for a pint of beer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Splash out for a spin on the London Eye, for a truly breath-taking view of the city at sunset. You can then finish your London sojourn in a very British way with a proper fish &amp; chip supper.
