Here you’ll find students as well as groups of older regulars all enjoying the pub’s authenticity. Unbelievable, but true: On the HVV ferries the temperatures are tropical. If you’re on a small budget, you can take a little break and sail from the jetty to the Elbe Philharmonic Hall in the cosy warmth of the ferry (the waves make the experience even more meditative). Once you’re on the other side, you can take the longest escalator in Europe up to the Plaza, where you will feel the ice cold wind blowing in your face again. Admission is free.<\/p>\n
