Berlin has several exciting gay neighborhoods to check out: Sch\u00f6neberg, Kreuzberg, Neuk\u00f6lln, Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. We are bringing you the Berlin neighborhood gay guide. #1 Sch\u00f6neberg<\/h3>\n

The main gay neighborhood in Berlin is Sch\u00f6neberg. It is the heart of Berlin’s LGBTQ gay community, back in 1897 the world’s first-ever LGBTQ organisation the “Scientific-Humanitarian Committee” was founded right there.<\/p>\n

In Sch\u00f6neberg you can find the oldest gay bars like Tom’s Bar, as well as hip bars like Prinzknecht, Heile Welt and Hafen. After the night out we recommend you to stop by the one of these cafes: Romeo & Romeo, Cafe Kawil Kunde or Cafe Berio. When it comes to the lunch\/dinner you should not miss Fritz & Co and Sissi.<\/p>\n

#2 Kreuzberg<\/h3>\n

Kreuzberg is the other main gay district of Berlin, the big rival from the Sch\u00f6neberg. After the fall of the Berlin Wall Kreuzberg started to grow and attracting the cool kids. Today Kreuzberg has a large LGBTQ community living there and amazing gay bars like M\u00f6bel Olfe, Roses,  BarbieBar, coffee and snack spot like S\u00fcdblock and a gay museum too, the Schwules (Gay) Museum.<\/p>\n

#3 Neuk\u00f6lln<\/h3>\n

The popularity of Kreuzberg amongst the LGBTQ community got so big that the cool kids started moving further to the south, to the Neuk\u00f6lln neighborhood.  Gay bars worth of visiting are definitely Cafe Melitta Sundstr\u00f6m and SilverFuture and if you are looking a place to eat visit the Caf\u00e9 K-\u0166etisch or Alaska.<\/p>\n

#4 Prenzlauer Berg<\/h3>\n

In the 1960s Prenzlauer Berg was famous  for being the hub of East Germany’s gay scene. In Prenzlauer Berg you will find trendy gay bars like Flax and popular gay brunch spots like Schall & Rauch.<\/p>\n
